There are various options for taking aerial video depending on the type of shots and flying height required. Helicopters must generally operate from above 800′ and UAVs below 400′.

Commissioned work is chargeable unless cancelled by 1.00 pm on previous day.

Aerial Video Options and Costs

  1. Gyro-stabilised camera systems (mounted beneath helicopter, controlled remotely)
    • HD Sony Cineflex, 42:1 lens, camera and operator @£3200 per day or part.
    • Plus helicopter £1200 first hour (pro-rata thereafter), landing fees @ £50, 1 hr tape @ £45
  2. HD Manually held camera from helicopter (less stable)
    1. Camcorder and operator @ £1200 per day or part
    2. Plus helicopter £1200 first hour (pro-rata thereafter), landing fees @ £50, 1 hr tape @ £45
  3. UAS Remotely Piloted Aircraft, Drones, Helicams, Quadcopters, Multirotors
    • Video and stills can be taken from these types of aircraft and the cost will depend on the type of camera required and therefore the payload and aircraft needed.
